Areas of Practice

Edison focuses the majority of his practice in the Criminal Law area. In his work as Defence Counsel, Edison deals with all criminal offences as set forth under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Most common types of cases that Edison deals with include:

• Impaired driving; Driving over .08; Refusing to provide breath or blood sample; Dangerous driving; Failure to stop; Driving while suspended;

• Trafficking, cultivating, and possession for the purpose of trafficking;

• Property Offences, such as fraud, false pretences, counterfeit money, etc;

• Offences against the person, such as assaults, spousal assaults, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, etc.
